What Does S.O.B. Do?

At S.O.B (Survivors Of aBuse), we support adult survivors (18+) of any type of abuse, with a particular focus on those affected by childhood trauma. We understand that abuse—whether emotional, physical, sexual, or neglect—can leave deep, lasting impacts on a person’s mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

Our mission is to help survivors move from surviving to thriving.

Many adults live with the hidden effects of past abuse—feelings of shame, low self-worth, anxiety, depression, or patterns of behaviour that block happiness and health. At S.O.B, we provide trauma-informed support, tools, and resources that help break those cycles and empower individuals to heal and rebuild their lives.

Founded by Chris Tuck, herself a survivor, S.O.B was born out of a lived understanding of how hard the recovery journey can be—and how powerful it is to be truly supported.

At the heart of our work is the C.L.E.A.N.E.R.™ Living Therapy Programme, a ground-breaking 8-week course that integrates mindset coaching, nutrition, fitness, and stress management. It’s the only trauma-informed programme of its kind in the UK, developed specifically to meet the needs of adult survivors.

We are proud to offer this programme free of charge, made possible through donations and fundraising.

S.O.B exists to help adult survivors of abuse live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives. That’s our purpose—and our promise.
