Paper Christmas Tree Table Decorations Workshop

A lovely relaxed evening of festive creativity

Come and join me for a gorgeous creative evening. You'll create handmade crepe paper Christmas Trees. Each branch of the tree is cut and shaped by hand, and hand applied to a cardboard base. It's a simple and relaxing process that creates something beautiful and uniquely yours for your own home this Christmas.

You can use as a decoration around your home, even as the centre piece to your Christmas table.

Join York based artist and creative director Susan Bradley to create your own unique decorations in this lovely relaxed festive workshop.

Susan works as a professional artist and designer in York. She is an award-winning designer and has worked in creative fields (graphic, product, furniture and interior design) for over 20 years.

All materials are provided for you and included in the price of the workshop. 

Open to everyone and anyone, no previous experience required. You'll need to be able to use small scissors to cut the crepe paper. (Suitable for over 14's only)

You'll get to made 3 Christmas tree decorations, and will be provided with 3 base cones and crepe paper in different colours to create your set of trees.

The BlueBird Bakery cafe will be open for the evening, and you'll be able to buy delicious cakes, mince piece and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy as you create.

What to bring along:

All equipment is provided.

If you have your own preferred paper cutting scissors, or require left handed scissors, please bring those along with you.

About the artist:

Susan Bradley is a designer and artist based and from Yorkshire. Her award winning metal designs range from large scale exterior wall installations to small interior products. Her clients include museum and art galleries around the world, along with companies such as Donna Karen New York, Urban Outfitters, Christian Louboutin and Harvey Nichols (for who she designed the backdrop to their infamous Christmas windows 15 years ago)

Her designs have been sold in museums including the V&A, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, The Baltic, National Portrait Gallery and London Transport Museum.

Terms & Conditions - The small print

• Workshops must be booked in advance due to limited places
• Refund Policy: 60 days prior to start date. If a cancellation is made 60 days prior to the start of the event, then your payment can be refunded (minus payment processing fees) or you can transfer to another workshop.
• If cancellations are made after this time I CANNOT provide a refund or transfer to another later event, unless I have people on a waiting list who will take your place. You are welcome to find someone to fill your place and for them to come instead if you (and this is totally totally fine to do). I will also try my best to fill your place for you, but this can be tricky if it's last minutes in particular. Should I be able to fill your place then you can either transfer your payment to a future event, or receive a refund (minus payment processing fees).
• Unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund due to covid or any other illness - unless I can fill your place.
• We reserve the right to cancel a course or workshop if we have insufficient numbers. Should this happens we will offer you a place on another course or workshop, or refund your money - whichever you prefer. This is highly unlikely, but we just have to mention it.
