We must lead in the midst of uncertainty and evolve to keep pace with our changing world, all while managing our busy lives as professionals, colleagues, and caregivers. We often wish we had a life raft to help us stay afloat (and on our worst days, even a piece of driftwood would suffice.)
Join world-renowned psychologist Susan David, Ph.D. for an innovative learning experience:
For too long, the essence of what makes us human—our empathy, our values, and our emotions—have been dismissed as “soft skills.” Yet, these capacities drive everything: wellbeing, culture, engagement, leadership, innovation, and so much more.
Developed by Susan David, Ph.D., emotional agility is a set of essential, psychological skills for our complex, changing world.
Learn how to show up for yourself and others at work and beyond, sustain positive change, and foster a deep sense of wellbeing through this differentiated, whole-person approach.
Because human skills aren’t “soft.”
They drive everything.
They are learnable. Practical. Powerful.

In South Africa, where I come from, "sawubona" is the Zulu word for "hello." There's a beautiful and powerful intention behind the word because "sawubona," literally translated, means, "I see you, and by seeing you, I bring you into being."
At its core, emotional agility is about the capacity to see ourselves and others in a wholehearted and healthy way. It's a set of essential psychological skills for our complex world—a world that often chooses not to see. It is more than just a skill set I teach, it's what I try to live by, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to share it with you through Emotional Agility for Wellbeing at Work.
In curiosity, compassion, and courage,
Susan David

This learning journey is for working professionals, business owners, leaders, entrepreneurs, and anyone who wants to boost wellbeing, reduce stress and burnout, maintain motivation, and keep pace with the rapidly evolving world of work.
You will redefine your relationship to stress and difficult emotions, reconnect to an individual sense of purpose, and learn to move in the direction of your values through actionable techniques for sustained, transformative change.
While we will be exploring powerful and practical skills that support wellbeing, it’s important to note that this learning journey isn’t intended to be a replacement for therapy or professional mental health care.
This learning journey includes 15 emotional agility microskills shared over the course of three weeks (access to microskills ends on January 15th, 2024), two virtual live sessions with Susan David, and a set of tailored discussion questions.
Microskills are short, easily-digestible packages of interactive content designed to deliver the broadest impact with the lowest demand on busy schedules. Microskills may include any of the following: beautifully mastered videos, targeted reflection questions, interactive activities, and actionable commitments designed to create real impact and deep change. Preview a microskill video here.
Emotional Agility for Wellbeing at Work meets you where you are. One self-paced microskill will be delivered to your inbox each business day for three weeks and each one takes no more than 15 minutes. Virtual live sessions with Susan (October 26th and November 16th) will be no more than 90 minutes each.
You can join from anywhere in the world! We'll offer two options to attend each of Susan's virtual live sessions. If neither time works for you, you will have access to a recording of the session for 60 days.
If you’re in a time zone that makes it difficult to attend one of our live sessions, please fill out this form to help us improve global accessibility for future offerings.
