Sensational Scenes and feedback!

Wed 28 May 2025 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Theatre Deli London (Leadenhall Street), EC3A 4AF

WHAT IS THIS WORKSHOP?

A dynamic, bespoke, one-off session packed full of improvised scenes and tailored to what you need.

Potential areas to explore include; stagecraft (making your scene look as good as possible), emotional connection, characterisation, game, and more.

We'll do lots of improvised scenes, with helpful side-coaching. This is a chance to get plenty of practise, and also to get feedback in a supportive environment. If there are particular things you are struggling with within your improvised scenework, or certain areas you'd like to be pushed in, I can tailor an exercise just for you.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

This is for improvisers who would like to level up their scene work. Whether you'd like feedback, guidance, or you just want to be pushed a bit, then this is for you.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?

Wednesday 28th May from 7pm - 9.00pm

WHERE DOES IT TAKE PLACE?

Theatre Deli (Leadenhall Street)

WHO IS SUSAN HARRISON?
I'm an improviser, character comedian and actor. I've been a member of Olivier Award winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical for the past twelve years and have also performed on the West End with Austentatious, on tour with Mischief Movie Night and at The Comedy Store with Paul Merton and Suki Webster as well as with the legendary Comedy Store Players. I love narrative improv and have my own company These Folk: the improvised folk musical, which has performed in Bristol, London, Rome, throughout the libraries of North London...and even in someone's back garden.
I started out doing longform Chicago-style improv (doing formats such as the Harold, Armando etc) and am a huge fan of this style of improv too. Basically I like all of it. As an actor I trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and have performed in theatre, radio, TV and voice over. I bring my knowledge of acting and stage-craft into the improv classroom, as I strongly believe that each feeds into the other.

I currently teach improv for Hoopla, The Bridge, and Showstopper, and have previously taught improv for drama schools including ALRA, LAMDA, Mountview, GSA.

I'm passionate about creating a playful and supportive learning environment.
