CAT & Online Supervision
Who is this for: For clinicians offering or receiving clinical supervision via digital technology, this interactive online workshop aims to highlight the special considerations that supervision online might present when there is the ‘other’ that is the technology in the mix.
This training will count towards the Module 4 CPD days for those working towards accreditation as a CAT supervisor.
Learning Outcomes for the Day:
There will consideration of the practical, relational, and ethical issues that supervision online presents, with reference to existing research. Attendees can expect to gain understanding of how the features of online communication may impact relationally within supervision.
Some interesting questions for practice will be raised & suggestions made for supervisors to consider, with a framework within which the supervisor and supervisee may work safely - considering the psychological processes that may be amplified in this domain.
