About the course
Learn how to willow weave a reindeer sculpture for your home on this craft workshop in the Hampshire South Downs. Spend a fun day making a willow reindeer about 75cm tall to stand on a windowsill or table. Or why not place it beside your front door to welcome visitors? Using a whole range of basketry techniques, you get lots of learning in this class as well as a really impressive item to take home with you.

The course will give you:
- Skills in crafting with willow
- Knowledge on how to select suitable materials
This course is suitable for:
Beginners or improvers with some manual dexterity, hand strength and patience! If you unsure if this course is suitable for you, please contact the courses team.
What to bring:
- Work clothes
- Sharp secateurs
- A packed lunch or lunch can be purchased from The Beech Cafe on site
- This course will take place indoors.

Judith Needham is a basket maker and willow weaver based in Farnham, Surrey - England's Craft Town. She specialises in woven willow playhouses and basket making.
