The Great Lakes, Great Impact: Our Water Legacy event invites our local sailing and member business community to gather at South Shore Yacht Club (SSYC) for an inspiring fundraiser that benefits area nonprofits to advance conservation and sustainable business practices. As one of the 26 certified Clean Marinas in Wisconsin, SSYC is the perfect setting for a fun night to celebrate our region's largest natural resource - fresh water!

Evening Highlights: 

Hear from local experts as they bring Lake Michigan’s maritime legacy to life, connect the region’s sailing culture to ecological and economic importance, and spotlight the urgent challenges facing our largest freshwater system today. This event brings together leaders from: 

• Sustainable Business Council (SBC) - helping businesses of all sizes integrate sustainability best practices for nearly 20 years
• Alliance for the Great Lakes - working to protect the lakes and region's communities since 1970
• Chicago Maritime Museum - a leading authority on the region's waterways and their significance in the past, present, and future
• B Local Wisconsin - a community of Certified B Corps in Wisconsin using business as a force for good
