Huzzah! It is with HUGE excitement that we get to announce the first ever Sustainable Fashion Dublin **SUMMER PARTAAYY**
Having created a community of 10k incredible, enthusiastic and passionate sustainable fashion enthusiasts, we want to celebrate just how far our sustainable fashion family has come in the past 6 months - and we'd love for you to join us!
On Saturday July 20th from 6pm we invite you to come along, have a drink, swap clothes, watch an amazing documentary, enjoy some delish treats, and generally let the good vibes flow with like-minded, sound buzzers who are as colourful as they are conscious.
First and foremost, let's kick the party off by doing what we do best- SWAPPING CLOTHES! Following the swapshop madness, grab some treats supplied by Nutbutter and a cocktail (or two) from Bloom Gin, then sit back and have your eyes opened by the amazing documentary - The True Cost.
Bring your once-beloved clothes and swap them for some pre-loved garments for mega-cheap; Not only is this gas craic but swapping clothes is 100% the most sustainable way you can bump up your wardrobe.
Swap Shop deets:
Grab yourself a cocktail, load up on some treats from Nutbutter and get comfy. The True Cost documentary has been the fast fashion turning point for so many people, so strap in, we're in for an awakening.
"The True Cost is a story about clothing. It’s about the clothes we wear, the people who make them, and the impact the industry is having on our world. The price of clothing has been decreasing for decades, while the human and environmental costs have grown dramatically. The True Cost is a groundbreaking documentary film that pulls back the curtain on the untold story and asks us to consider, who really pays the price for our clothing? Filmed in countries all over the world, from the brightest runways to the darkest slums, and featuring interviews with the world’s leading influencers including Stella McCartney, Livia Firth and Vandana Shiva, The True Cost is an unprecedented project that invites us on an eye opening journey around the world and into the lives of the many people and places behind our clothes."
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!
