Conscious Connections - Derby - Autumn 2026
Join us for a morning of purposeful connection at Nuroosa, nestled in the heart of Derbyshire. With its stunning natural surroundings and thoughtful design, this beautiful venue provides the perfect backdrop for a session dedicated to making weddings more welcoming for everyone. As we step away from the peak season rush, this event is all about slowing down, reflecting, and exploring how we can create experiences that truly include our couples and their guests.
This isn’t your average networking mixer. “Conscious Connections” are designed to be a “no-judgment” space where wedding pros can step away from their busy studios and offices to reconnect, share ideas, and focus on building businesses that are as kind to people as they are to the planet.
What’s on the Agenda?
- Demystifying Accessible Weddings: We are thrilled to partner with Leni Robson for an interactive, practical workshop on making the wedding planning and attendance experience more inclusive. Leni will guide us through real-world strategies for accommodating different access needs, ensuring every couple and guest feels valued and supported. It’s about finding the balance between creative vision and genuine accessibility.
- A Unique Venue Tour: Weather permitting, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at Nuroosa. Discover how this unique space manages its environment and visitor experience, offering fresh inspiration for your own venue partnerships and client offerings.
- Community Connections: Meet new conscious businesses. Whether you are a photographer, florist, planner, celebrant, venue team or owner, this is the perfect opportunity to spark new collaborations and strengthen local ties before the winter rush begins.
