Expressing the Earth -a poetic and reflective documentary that invites a quiet reimagining of our place  in the living world

We are delighted that this film screening will be introduced by the director, Glenda Rome, and will be followed by a Q&A session.

Through rugged coastlines, ancient forests, and into the geological bedrock of Scotland’s wild places, Expressing the Earth embarks on a cinematic journey into Geopoetics — the philosophy developed by the late Scottish poet-thinker Kenneth White, which seeks a deeper connection between the mind, language, and the living world.

This poetic and thought provoking (80 minute) documentary invites us to look again at our relationship with the planet — and to rediscover the creative dialogue between human perception and the Earth itself.
