What Is? What If? What Next?
Sunday 1st November, 2-5pm, West Barns Village Hall
We want your input!
Our Local Resilience Action Plan was first published 15 years ago. As climate breakdown and collapse of 'business as usual' becomes more and more evident, and as part of a process to create a new vision and plan for local action, we are planning a series of community workshops through the Autumn. The first of these will be held on Sunday 1st November in West Barns Village Hall, 2-5pm.
How can we ensure that our community is best placed to navigate these challenging times? What should we prioritise so as to enable everyone to thrive and nature to flourish? The workshops will take us through a 3 stage process:
What is?
-what is already happening, what needs to change and what needs to be retained and built on?
What if?
-to fire our collective imagination for future possibilities.
What next?
-to explores pathways to get us to some firm ideas for future actions.
This process is intended to enable collaboration, co-design and specifically to allow for tensions to
emerge so that they can be worked through together so as to develop a sense of
shared ownership and solidarity, setting the basis for future change to happen.
