Gift Shop Clerk

Gift Shop Volunteers assist with operating the Sutro Tunnel Site gift shop during public tour days, special events, and private tours. Currently, the gift shop operates as a pop-up shop located within the museum area.

Volunteers in this role help welcome guests, answer basic visitor questions, organize merchandise displays, and process sales using cash or card transactions. Gift Shop Volunteers are expected to provide friendly customer service while helping maintain an organized and professional visitor experience.

Volunteers may also assist with restocking merchandise, monitoring inventory levels, and helping visitors find information about tours, events, and the history of the site.
