Family Friendly Fused Glass Taster Sessions with Suzie Lavender -Museum of Cannock Chase - suitable for all ages

Bring the family to the Museum of Cannock Chase on Wednesday 16th April for you all to try your hand at Glass Fusing with glass artist Suzie Lavender Contemporary Glass!
Suzie is hosting a family friendly glass taster session open to all ages in the Museum of Cannock Chase Craft Room.
Book your 1hour slot for a small deposit, and then come along and choose which individually priced item(s) that you would like to create - your total deposit payments will be deducted from your balance to pay on the day.

Open to children and to adults alike, suitable from school age upwards (no maximum age!). Please note that children will need to be supervised by an adult (glass can be sharp!) and cannot join in without an accompanying supervising adult. Please pay a deposit for accompanying adults as well as for children - the room has a maximum capacity and for your safety a ticket is required for anyone who wishes to enter the workshop room. Additional family members can only join the room if space allows.

Items that can be created include: 

Treasure Pebble £6,  Bag charm/Keyring £8, Pendant £8, Hanging Suncatcher £10-£12, Picture tile/Coaster £15 and trinket dish £20. 

You are able to choose your items to make and your deposit paid will be deducted from your balance to pay. Cash and Card payments are accepted. Card payments are occasionally subject to internet connection - I advise bringing some cash along.

Deposit is just £2.50 per person.  Slots are 11am-12pm, 12:15-1:15pm and 1:30-2:30pm. I will encourage people to leave on time as it is a quick turnaround.

You will be introduced to a selection of decorative glass pieces which you can use to design and create your glass. No experience necessary.

Your glass items will be taken for firing and then returned to the Museum for collection from 2 weeks later
