Evening Fused Glass Windchimes Workshop at Codsall Hive - suitable for beginners & more

Wolverhampton glass artist Suzie from Suzie Lavender Contemporary Glass will be at The Codsall Hive teaching a relaxed evening session of fused glass making techniques. These workshops are suitable for beginners or as a refresher course. 

Wonderful Windchimes! In this workshop, you will design and create a hanging glass windchime set. You’ll be able to choose from a variety of glass shapes and components to plan your layout, then decorate them in the colour scheme you prefer. The session introduces basic glass fusing and layering techniques using coloured glass, along with an overview of the materials and tools involved. Each participant will make up to five hanging pieces, along with a top bar from which the finished chimes will be suspended.

Participants who are regular attendees of Suzie’s workshops are welcome to make different projects to save repetition if they contact Suzie in advance.

All creations will be kiln fired by Suzie following the sessions and then collection from Codsall Hive (or postage of the work can be organised for a small fee) from 14 days later.

Places are limited. Suitable for adults and for teens age 13 and over, under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult.  Book today to secure your place and to learn something new and exciting!  

Workshop cost is £45.00 per person. Pay in full or book with a £10 deposit and pay the balance with cash or card in person on the evening of the event.

Please wear closed toe shoes.

Refreshments are not included but are available to order from the Café on the evening and you are welcome to purchase food and drink from their extensive menu during the workshop. Please do not bring your own refreshments without prior consent.
