The Washington Evergreen Chapter of SWANA invites you to Winterfest 2022, a festive gathering and fundraiser for the Deborah Lambert Memorial Student Scholarship. Since 2003, the Evergreen Chapter has awarded nearly $143,000 in scholarships to 99 students. Many thanks to SWANA members and corporate donors for their support of the Evergreen Chapter scholarship fund.
This event is open to SWANA members, their guests, and colleagues. Enjoy fabulous food with friends and colleagues while supporting the next generation of environmentally-conscious solid waste management professionals.
Individuals may make a donation of any amount to the chapter scholarship fund. Minimum donation of $25 suggested. We also offer three levels of corporate sponsorships, with benefits outlined below. As a chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America, the Washington Evergreen Chapter is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, so your donation may be tax-deductible.

About the Deborah Lambert Memorial Scholarship
In honor of the late Deborah Lambert (SWANA Washington Evergreen Chapter President 2002-2005), and the many years she dedicated to the solid waste management field, the Chapter is pleased to offer scholarships to qualified undergraduate and graduate students studying in fields related to solid waste management. Since 2003, the Evergreen Chapter has awarded nearly $143,000 in scholarships to 99 students.
In 2022, the following students received Deborah Lambert Memorial Scholarships:
