Why does the distant past matter to us? How should we talk about the ancient world in an age of social media? And how can you tell your own stories about things that happened long ago?
In this interactive social media workshop, you’ll meet an established content creator and researchers in the history of the ancient world, specifically the Greek and Roman Mediterranean and ancient Persia.
You’ll get a chance to develop your own ideas about the past and find out how to turn them into engaging social media posts.
Stories from the ancient world continue to resonate here and now. New archaeological discoveries regularly make headlines, and we follow debates whether museum objects should be returned to where they were found. Ancient ideas about power play a role in politics today.
So, what’s your ancient history? Get ready to share it with the world!
