What is THE SUMMONING, you might wonder?

The Summoning is a gathering of Game Designers to meet, share, and exchange their experiences.

This event solely caters to professionals within the field of Game Design, including juniors.
If you’ve had any hands-on experience working in game design (at any point), we’d love to have you join our event.

It takes place in Skövde, Sweden, on the 8-9th of April.

The idea of THE SUMMONING came from our council, a group of veteran game designers who felt a need for a gathering just for them. Their role in the process to make the event happen is to evaluate interesting topics and companies to invite on stage.

When is the SUMMONING happening?
It takes place in Skövde, Sweden, on the 8- 9th of April.
The venue is Insikten, Science park Skövde, and the schedule is 11:00-17:30 8th of april, with following social activities such as mingle and dinner, and 08:30-14:00 on the 9th of April.

Who can join?
This event solely caters to professionals within the field of Game Design.

What is included?
A ticket for the event costs: 1200 SEK incl. VAT

"Sweden has a vast amount of Game Designers with knowledge of how to create phenomenal games. Wisdom that has been gained throughout years of hard work and dedication. Currently we seem to be missing a specifically tailored event to share our knowledge and experiences with each other, which is why I wanted to create an event for designers in the Swedish games industry. 
This event allows us to share insight in what design choices were made during development, why they were made and what they would have done differently."
