Swedish cinnamon bun virtual bake-along
Sat Oct 1, 2022 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM CDT
Online, Zoom
Description
Are you ready to master the Swedish cinnamon bun? Join me, Isabelle Fredborg, writer of the Swedish food blog Swedish Spoon, in my tiny Stockholm kitchen for a bake-along! Soon, your home will be filled with an irresistible scent of buttery “kanelbullar”, as they are called here in Sweden.
We're going to have so much fun together!
You get a tried-and-tested recipe and plenty of tips and tricks for making mouth-watering buns. I’ll guide you along the way, give you feedback and answer any questions.
For example, you’ll learn how to:
test if the dough is ready (whether you knead it by hand or with a fancy machine),
determine the best cinnamon bun shape for the occasion,
shape beautiful cinnamon buns (regardless of your skill level),
decorate the buns – no Swedish specialty ingredients necessary, and
bake and store cinnamon buns so they keep fresh for longer.
A few days before the class, you’ll receive an email with a list of ingredients, suggested equipment and instructions.
After completing the class, you’ll get your own “Swedish cinnamon bun master” diploma sent to you digitally. Not that you’ll need it as proof... everyone will be able to tell when they see the delicious baked goods you’ve made!

Do I have to bake? No! You can just join the workshop and bake at another time. You can follow the recipe whenever it suits you.
The time doesn’t work for me? Email me and tell me what time zone would be better for you – if there’s interest, I’ll add additional classes.
Can my kids/friend/spouse/relative/someone else join? The entire household is welcome to join with one ticket. However, you can not join with more than one device.
Isn't that a long time for baking? The time is so that you'll have plenty of time to get all your questions answered. You don't need to stay the entire time if you don't want to – you'll have the instructions written down so you can keep a faster pace if you wish.
Do you have any other question? Contact me and I'll get back to you as soon as I've finished my coffee.
