Friday Night Wine School - Disco Liquids

Join us for our attendance-limited, signup-only Friday night tasting!  Tastings are held on the back patio with a max of 12 people per time slot.

Disco Liquids is a new wholesaler in town that has dedicated its entire portfolio to natural, minimal-intervention wines.  While there is no official or regulated definition of natural wine, think of it as the unfiltered, untamed, un-photoshopped version of what we know to be wine. What you can usually count on is that the grapes are hand-picked from sustainable, organic, or biodynamic vineyards.  In terms of production, the wine is fermented with no added yeast (ie. native yeasts), no additives are included in fermentation (yeast nutrients, etc) and little or no sulfites are added.

I'll be honest, there is a lot of weird, funky, flawed natural wines out there but if you take the time to find them, there are some great, balanced, delicious representations.  And we've done just that with DJ Piazza, owner/founder of Disco Liquids.  He will join us this evening for 5 super fun wines that are near and dear to us from Italy and France.  Come check it out!  G
