Friday Night Wine School -Indigenous Varieties from Lesser Known Villages with Mary Taylor

We are excited to have Mary Taylor back at Swirl for this exclusive tasting event!  Mary Taylor is a wine importer known for curating and importing a selection of European wines under her own label, "Mary Taylor Wine." Her focus is on wines that reflect the true character of the regions and vineyards they come from, emphasizing authenticity, terroir, and tradition. Mary Taylor works closely with small, family-owned wineries in Europe, particularly in France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, to bring unique and high-quality wines to the U.S. market.

Her approach is to offer wines that are not only representative of their origins but also affordable and accessible to a wider audience. Mary Taylor's label often highlights the appellation and the producer, providing transparency about the wine's origin and making it easier for consumers to explore and understand European wines.

Tonight, Mary Taylor, champion of lesser-known AOCs,  will personally guide you through a curated selection of European wines, each chosen for its distinct expression of terroir and tradition.  Learn the stories behind the wines—from the families who have been cultivating these unique grapes for generations to the production methods that preserve their authenticity.  We hope you'll join us!

-All ticket sales are final.
-We will hold our tastings outside on the patio from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Fridays weather permitting, if it rains we move inside to the back of the shop.
-Your $5 tasting fee is refunded when you purchase a bottle of wine from the tasting. Limit 1 refund per bottle per customer.
-Please arrive 5 minutes early for your time slot, as we may not be able to move you to another spot.
-No waiting in line for your taste of wine in a plastic cup and snippet of info. During your time slot, you will have the presenter's undivided attention as you learn about and taste the wines from Riedel glassware.
-When your tasting is over, you can browse and shop or enjoy a glass or bottle at our indoor and outdoor tables.
