Program Description:
Symphony847 closes the season on the trail of a theme as old as the orchestra itself: the hunt. Haydn's La Chasse opens with hunting-horn fanfares baked right into the symphony, and Prokofiev's beloved Peter and the Wolf — narrator included — turns the whole evening into a story families can bring kids to and adults will still love. A natural season finale, and one of the most accessible entry points all year for first-time concertgoers.
