Symphony Parnassus 2024-25 Spring Concert

Our 2024-2025 Spring Concert features the world premiere of Preben Antonsen's Dag Gadol, soloist Hélène Wickett in Ravel's Piano Concerto in G, and Sibelius's Symphony No. 7

Preben Antonsen’s Dag Gadol opens the concert with a vibrant new work that brings out the full grandeur and resonance of the orchestra. Renowned pianist Hélène Wickett will then perform Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G, an enchanting piece that blends sparkling melodies with rich jazz influences. Finally, Sibelius’s Symphony No. 7 takes us on an awe-inspiring journey through a single, sweeping movement, evoking the power and mystery of nature. The concert will take place at the Taube Atrium Theater, located at the Veterans Memorial Building, 401 Van Ness, San Francisco, CA 94102.
