UN-DESK YOUR BODY

Mobility, strength & breathing hacks for bodies that spend way too much time at a computer

If you're noticing a mysterious hump forming at the top of your back, you're not alone.

Hours of sitting, typing, scrolling, Zooming, and generally computer-ing can leave your body feeling like it's slowly folding itself into a question mark.

Stiff neck? Achy shoulders? Tight hips? Cranky low back? Headaches? Feel like you can't quite take a satisfying deep breath?

Your desk may have some explaining to do.

Join Dr. Sue for UN-DESK YOUR BODY, a fun, hands-on workshop designed to help you understand—and UNdo—some of the ways desk life affects your spine, shoulders, hips, and even your breathing.

And believe it or not, those late-afternoon yawns may not be just from one too many Zooms in a row.

We'll test how you move, try a few simple mobility, strength, and breathing hacks, and then retest so you can actually feel what changes.

We'll explore:

THE HUNCH
Why your upper back can start feeling increasingly stiff and rounded—and what your ribs and upper back need to move in the other direction.

THE DESK SHOULDERS
Why reaching overhead can suddenly feel surprisingly difficult, and how your rib cage and upper back affect what your shoulders can do.

THE CRANKY NECK
What happens when your head spends hours living out in front of the rest of you—and why endlessly stretching your neck may not be the whole answer.

THE TIGHT HIPS
Your hips were designed to do a lot more than hold you in a chair. We'll get them moving and working again.

THE DESK-WORKER BREATH
Your diaphragm and ribs need room to move, too. You'll learn a simple way to test your breathing and practice expanding your lower ribs instead of recruiting your neck and shoulders for every breath.

And because this is a Dr. Sue workshop, you won't spend the whole thing sitting there listening to me talk about how bad sitting is.

You'll move. You'll experiment. You'll probably make some ridiculous noises. And hopefully you'll have at least one:

"WAIT…why is that suddenly easier?!" moment.

You'll leave with a simple Un-Desk Reset you can use during your workday—no gym clothes, complicated equipment, or 45-minute mobility routine required.

Because the answer isn't sitting up perfectly straight for eight hours, a standing desk, or a walking pad.

The answer is giving your body more ways to move.

Come learn how to keep your desk job from turning you into someone who's looking for a side hustle as a cathedral bell ringer. 🔕😉
