Join us in celebrating the release of Tadhg Cullen’s new EP, ‘Invention’.

Invention looks to explore new frontiers. Popular folk blends with soul grooves, jazz harmony and progressive rhythmic structures in a dynamic sonic experience. It is a nuanced, emotive dive into the sensitive heart of songwriter, Tadhg Cullen, with themes ranging from love - both requited and unrequited - to depression and grief.

Tadhg Cullen is a singer-songwriter from Falmouth, Cornwall. His signature acoustic guitar style and introspective lyricism echo the work of Nick Drake, Lianne la Havas and Jeff Buckley.

Tadhg is joined by his excellent backing band, The Magic, forming a talented, tasteful, and unerringly groovy trio. The set will feature songs from the EP, alongside tunes currently in the works.

Iᑎ ᔕIᒪᐯᗴᖇ [In Silver] are a four-piece Bristol-based band creating alternative folk music, with highly personal and emotive songwriting at its core. Their sound is illustrated by arrangements which range from a whisper, to grooves that get people moving. Over the last year the band have headlined Bristol venues such as The Louisiana, The Grain Barge and Cafe Kino, as well as stretching their legs down south to put on a show at The Fish Factory in Penryn. You can listen to their first set of recorded music now on Bandcamp - a set of demos captured at home on a single microphone that transport you into their living room songwriting sessions.
