Take one bring London-born and shaped by the formative rise of early dubstep, Azaad’s musical journey is deeply rooted in the UK’s underground. From dub, reggae, jungle and UKG, to the house-driven energy of fabric’s golden-era Fridays and Saturdays, his sound reflects a rich and evolving club culture lineage.

What began as setting the tone at afterparties soon turned into a serious craft. Encouraged by those around him—and armed with his first set of decks gifted by his partner—Azaad honed his skills, later guided by production mentorship from Justin Drake (Peace Division). Today, he stands as the driving force behind Born2BeFree, a vinyl and digital label consistently topping charts across Europe.

His sound sits firmly in house music, infused with the rhythmic pulse of the UK and the textures of his Turkish and South Asian heritage. The result is a signature style: low-end heavy, rolling, and undeniably sensual—built on sample-driven techniques and a deep understanding of the dancefloor.

Drawing inspiration from artists he now calls peers—Benny Rodrigues’ versatility, Brawther’s depth, D’julz’s timeless groove, and mentor Tristan da Cunha’s guidance—Azaad continues to refine a sound that balances underground authenticity with big-room confidence.

With appearances at institutions including Fabric, KOKO, Shelter Amsterdam, Sisyphos, Golden Pudel Hamburg, and 528 Ibiza, Azaad is steadily building a reputation grounded in longevity, not trends. His mission remains clear: a sustainable rhythm between studio and dancefloor, always prioritising quality over quantity.
