Jidé Kuti LIVE at The Camden Chapel | An acoustic ‘listening’ music venue operated by TALENTBANQ
A night of music brought you to by acoustic singer/songwriter Jidé Kuti.
Based in London, Jidé Kuti is a singer/songwriter who has spent years refining his quirky pop/soul sound into something that he feels represents him not just as an artist but as a person. This consists of quirky lyricism, a combination of honest, soulful and charismatic vocals, catchy melodies and an inexplicable je ne sais quoi developed through 8 years of performing and writing music.
The British/Nigerian artist has a hard time putting himself in a genre but states that acoustic guitar, is the centre of all his music. This is partly due to the fact Jidé has a lot of influences in music from a wide range of genres which you can hear in artists such as: Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Alessia Cara, Cat Burns and many more. He describes himself as “Soul with a mix of Pop and Folk”. After appearing on ITV’s Romeo and Duet and Channel 4’s Gogglebox, Jidé is currently working on his debut EP “The Open Heart EP” which will be releasing in 2023 which he describes as the culmination of his heart’s deepest desires.
If you are looking for a night of warm, fun and reflective music, then we would love to have you.
