We are delighted to welcome the exceptional Sophie Martínez from Seville for an in-depth tango experience exploring the heart of connection, movement and embrace.

Sophie is renowned for her sensitive teaching, musicality and unique approach to body awareness in tango. Her workshops offer dancers fresh tools to deepen their connection, refine their technique and discover new levels of expression.

Part 1 (3:30pm – 4:30pm)

Energy • Embrace • Change of Weight • Walk

Dive deep into the flow of energy in the body (vertical, horizontal) and how it impacts on the movement in the pelvic floor system and in the embrace. How we can explore our own creativity and expressiveness to find mutual interaction across the change of weight and walking

Part 2 (5:00pm – 6:00pm) 

Communication - Improvisation - Creativity 

Explore how to expand possibilities improvisation and musical interpretation, one's own creativity and expressiveness from a mutual interaction through simple and precise sequences.
Investigate how “orientate” consciously the own energy through the body, according to what we want to communicate and propitiate while dancing to enrich the common sharing.
