FULL BOARD 4 Star NEW HOTEL  weekend of Tango, Blues over 2 dedicated dance floors enveloped in a unique, friendly atmosphere. In fact, it's a perfect environment for learning in. With different teachers, and a selection of D.J's who you will have seen on the Alternative Tango scene and Blues circuit 

Dancing starts from 4pm on Friday until 11pm on Sunday

We will throw open the doors on Friday from 4pm and we'll be dancing, socialising and learning right through until late Sunday evening.The weekender will be crammed full of workshops (11 to be exact, 6 on Saturday & 5 on Sunday) right up until 6:15pm on Sunday afternoon and then we will be hosting a Complimentary Goodbye Milonga at no additional cost to those booked on the weekender on the Sunday evening 8:00pm till 11:00pm...(after having a obligatory chill out and social drinks in the bar and collective take away order. Not included in weekender price) 

THE HOTEL
It takes place in the intimate environment of a 4 STAR hotel in the East Midlands. Due to the layout of the hotel you can arrive on Friday and stay in your dance shoes until Sunday - perfect.

The hotel has really friendly staff and has recently been extensively updated. It benefits from an excellent Marco Pierre White Restaurant, with food being prepared on-site, meaning the hotel is able to accommodate most special diary requirements (please notify Zoe in advance)

Kegworth Hotel is about two miles from East Midlands Parkway railway station, it's also on a 24 hour bus route with easy access from Nottingham and Derby! Finally it's only three miles from East Midlands International Airport! Crowne Plaza East Midlands Hotel is very well located, however you choose to travel.

Another full weekend dedicated to nothing but the very best in Alternative Tango music & a dedicated blues room.

Expect top tuition through the day, great food, comfortable rooms and some of the very best Alt Tango & Blues DJs in the country.

MEALS

ALL MEALS WILL HAVE VEGETARIAN, VEGAN & DIARY FREE CHOICES, THESE DIETARY REQUIREMENTS NEED TO BE PROVIDED TO ZOE AT TIME OF BOOKING.
 

BREAKFAST – We got you covered, Full English, Continental, Cereals, Fruit, Bread cheeses and meats.

LUNCH – Included in the price Lunch will be provided by Chef on the Saturday and Sunday.

EVENING MEAL – Fullboard, Evening Meals will be provided by Chef on the Friday & Saturday Evening

SUNDAY EVENING MEAL NOT INCLUDED

If you wanted to book an extra night with the hotel at a discount to extend your stay till the Monday, the Hotel have a wonderfully priced evening meal menu for the Sunday that you can order your Sunday evening meal or grab a take away. We can take your name, pass it on to the hotel who you can pay direct for this extra night which includes Breakfast on the Monday morning at checkout.

With dance instruction through the day, and social dancing through into the wee small hours, this is a weekend to seriously accelerate your dancing. Dipping your toes into another style is actively encouraged and with Tango and Blues dancing being such close cousins, our teachers will show you how to transfer your skills with surprising ease. The music played will be a gorgeous balance of traditional and modern blues in the BLUES Room and Nuevo/Alt/Neo tango in the TANGO ROOM.

We also have a dedicated Tango room, to surprise and delight you throughout the whole weekend with Resident DJ's Zoe Taylor & John Porterfield

Early bird booking price is £295 per person based on 2 people sharing, If single room occupancy is required this carries an additional £75 Single supplement charge early bird bookings end on Wednesday 10th September 2025, after that the cost will rise to the full amount of £330 per person. Places are only secured with a £50 per person non-refundable deposit. The remaining full balance is due by no later than 10th September 2025.

As all of our events are gender neutral, we will book you onto this weekend as a lead or follow rather than a male or female.

Top Tip Followers!!! If you know a leader who will book on with you, but you don't want to share a room with them, message us and we will do our best to find you a room to share with the same gender.
