Unbox Your Words: Sounds Inspired! Writing Workshop & Fundraiser

Join me for an interactive writing workshop buzzing with inspiration, exploration and play - inspired by sound! Sound means so many things: music (rhythm, beats, humans, whales, birdsong); acoustics, (science of sound, what it is, why it is, how it's made); noise, whether that's the traffic of our cities or the hum of the fridge. Sound is about speaking, listening, hearing, voice, tone, rhythm. Come think about, read, discuss and experience sound in ways you've never imagined, to create new pieces of writing in whatever word-shape you choose - or enrich your works-in-progress! It would be wonderful if you could join us live on the night, but if not, I'll send all ticket-holders the link to the recording shortly after the workshop ends together with any reading materials and links that I mentioned.

This in an interactive Zoom workshop, with a combo of writing exercises and various pieces in different shapes and forms that I bring for us to read an discuss - to inspire you to create new work or help you write something you've wanted to write for a while but were having trouble approaching directly! You're very welcome to have your camera off, if that's more comfortable for you. Everyone will be on mute and everything you write will be just for you, no-one ever has to share anything.
