*Only purchase if you already have your ticket to Wild Roses Festival 2026*

Attendees of this 2 hour bundle dyeing workshop can expect a hands-on, creative experience exploring the art of natural dyeing. Using leaves, flowers, dried plants, and other natural materials, participants will learn how to bundle dye fabric by arranging plant matter directly onto two projects. They’ll discover how to coax vibrant colors and patterns from nature, roll and tie their bundles for dyeing, and witness the magic of their creations as they unwrap their finished pieces.
This workshop will cover the basics of natural dyeing, including an introduction to plant-based colors, simple techniques for creating unique designs, and tips for working with natural fibers. Participants will leave with two beautifully dyed, one-of-a-kind projects and the skills to continue experimenting with bundle dyeing at home. Whether you're new to natural dyeing or looking to expand your creativity, this workshop offers an engaging and inspiring experience.
All supplies will be provided, but you're welcome to bring some fresh or dried flowers or leaves from your own garden! Not all plants give vibrant and long lasting colours, but the surprise is part of the experience. If you wish to bring anything, I recommend:
- flowers: coreopsis, marigold, and cosmos (any colour, even white)
- leaves: dogwood, maple, oak, hemp, raspberry, and fruit tree leaves
- red and yellow onion skins
I also encourage you to explore the plants at the festival to see what you can find!
See you there!
