Tulips for Tapping will take place from Thursday 16th April to Monday 27th April 2026.

The field will be closed on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd April.

With over 9.1 million tulips and 20 acres to enjoy, Tulips for Tapping is the only opportunity to visit and walk through working tulip fields in the UK, while supporting the Hospice. All proceeds will directly fund care for people who are living with a life limiting illness, and support for their loved ones.

The fields are in a different location from last year and are located just off the A148, close to Sandringham; the exact location will be revealed to ticket holders at point of purchase. Please note due to its location, there is no public transport to the field.

To ensure entry, tickets must be pre-booked in advance. Tickets go on sale at Tuesday 7th April 2026 at 10am.

Tickets are released in 45-minute blocks to manage transport and parking logistics – please adhere to allocated ticket times. Visitors can purchase up to six tickets at a time.

First entry at 10am and last entry at 3.30pm on:

  • Thursday 16th April
  • Sunday 19th April
  • Monday 20th April
  • Sunday 26th April
  • Monday 27th April

There will be five late evening openings with first entry at 10am and last entry at 7pm on:

  • Friday 17th April
  • Saturday 18th April
  • Thursday 23rd April
  • Friday 24th April
  • Saturday 25th April

Adult admission is £10.00 each and children (aged 5 to 16) are £5 each. Under 5s are free and do not require a ticket. This year, there will be a parking charge of £2.50 per car; all attendees must travel to the event by car or taxi.

Please ensure that you only have one browser open when purchasing tickets to allow for a quick and easy check out. Please also be aware that tickets are only held in your basket for five minutes.

There will be local traders selling food and refreshments. There will also be toilet facilities, ample parking and a stall selling merchandise at the field. Payments will be accepted by cash or card.

Dogs and drones are strictly forbidden on the field. Assistance dogs welcome. While those using wheelchairs and buggies are wholeheartedly welcomed at the field, we would ask that users be aware that conditions on the day are dependent upon the weather. The terrain will be uneven and can be muddy or dusty; please bear this in mind before you visit and wear appropriate footwear. The site is a no smoking and no vaping zone.

Please note all tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled. Whilst every effort has been made to run this event during peak flowering season, we cannot guarantee all of the tulips will be in full bloom for the duration of the event.

All funds raised will benefit Tapping House. We provide free rest-of-life care and bereavement support to residents living in West Norfolk and North Cambridgeshire.

With special thanks to Norfolk Tulips, Michael Rae and Roydon Hall Farms.
