Dr Mairi MacPherson, 'Threads of Belonging' - afternoon workshop

Join us for a workshop on tartan! Led by historian and Tarbat Discovery Centre Manager Dr Mairi MacPherson, you'll learn about the principles behind tartan - its history, how it is made, and how it is registered - and you will have the chance to design a tartan for yourself. There will also be the opportunity to try your hand at weaving tartan.

The workshop is suitable for ages 12+. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.
