Specifying ‘sustainably’ can be overwhelming. What does ‘good’ look like in practice and how do you know what claims stand up to scrutiny - and which are overinflated?

Join Tarkett, Hattrick, Morph Bricks and ISG for a practical session on transitioning to a circular economy without the hype. With a CPD and real-life case studies.

What’s Happening:

5 pm - arrive for 5:15 pm start

5:15 pm – CPD: A ‘Suss-free’ Sustainable Spec

What is greenwashing, ‘green hushing’ - and what does ‘net zero’ actually mean? A practical session to unpick key terminology and how to challenge claims with confidence. Delivered by Malin Cunningham, Trustee at the Carbon Literacy Project and Founder of communications agency Hattrick.

5:45 pm – Circular Innovations: No Wasted Learnings & A Large ‘Lego’ Loop
Circularity champions share key learnings on what it takes to deliver more circular practices - and innovations along the way. Followed by an audience Q&A.

  • Ross Dight, Technical & Sustainability Director, Tarkett - how they are tapping into industry waste streams and tackling flooring recycling, one project at a time

  • Harvey Banner, Founder, Morph Bricks - how unearthing plastics in the garden inspired ‘lego-style’ interior bricks with infinite design possibilities. Nominated for the 2024 EarthShot Prize

  • Anna Foden, Head of Sustainability, ISG - how they are promoting the reuse of materials in construction projects and implementing design for disassembly to avoid demolition.

6:30-7.30 pm – Networking & nibbles
