Getting started with TASO’s Theory of Change Builder
Join us online on 17 September (11:00–12:00) for a practical introduction to our new Theory of Change Builder – an online tool designed to make developing and managing theories of change simpler and more consistent. The tool provides step-by-step guided support to create a theory of change from scratch or using templates, with built-in definitions, examples, and tips to guide you through each section.
Come along to this session to learn more about how the Builder brings everything into one place, offering a virtual dashboard where you can store, version-control, and import and export theories of change diagrams and documents, without needing third-party tools. The tool also allows you to take a Core Theory of Change and build it into a more detailed Enhanced version, supported by a written narrative.
In this session, you’ll:
gain insights into how the tool was designed and tested
see a step-by-step walkthrough of its key features
hear from Peter Crowson, Evaluation and Research Coordinator at Nottingham Trent University, on how their team plans to use the builder in practice
get answers to your pre-submitted questions about making the most of the tool.
If you would like to ask a question during the session please submit them beforehand via Google Forms.
