Join us on Wednesday 24 June (11:00–12:00) for a webinar where we’ll introduce a new opportunity to work with us on a project evaluating contextualised admissions policies. The project will be delivered in collaboration with our UKRI Policy Fellow Professor Anna Mountford-Zimbars and selected higher education partners.

During the webinar, you’ll hear more about the aims of the project, what participation will involve, and how to apply. You’ll also have an opportunity to put your questions directly to the project team.

Background

While contextualised admissions are widely recognised as a tool for widening access to disadvantaged students, the sector currently faces a limited evidence base regarding their long-term effectiveness. This project will support participating higher education providers to develop theories of change, identify suitable outcome measures, and understand the data required to evaluate their contextualised admissions policies.

Applications to collaborate will open on Monday 15 June and close on Monday 12 July (13:00). Funding will be available to cover staff time to participate in workshops to develop the theory of change.
