TastEd's 5th Birthday Fundraising Dinner

TastEd is hosting a 5th Birthday Dinner with patron Anna Jones and founder Bee Wilson, to raise funds to support our work helping children have the opportunity to experience the joy of vegetables and fruit through sensory food education. TastEd activities support children to try new foods, with the aim of building lifelong, healthy and sustainable eating habits.

The dinner will start at 7pm with a welcome drink followed by a three-course vegetarian menu specially created for TastEd's milestone anniversary celebrating the joy of vegetables. The seasonal menu will include dishes from Honey & Smoke’s signature Middle Eastern repertoire as well as from Anna Jones and Bee Wilson's latest cookbooks. 

The evening will also include a food and drink-themed raffle, with premium prizes including a meal for two at the celebrated Killiecrankie House in Scotland, a casserole pan from Netherton Foundry and a Halen Môn gift box.

The funds raised at this event, through ticket sales and the raffle, will be vital in allowing TastEd to reach more schools and nurseries, impacting the lives of countless children, and inspiring them to embrace healthier futures through the power of food education.

Served on the 1st of October will be a vegetarian mezze platter including hummus, falafel, baba ganoush and a range of breads to start. Followed by a mushroom shawarma with sumac onions, accompanied by burned finger lentils. And for dessert marsala pears with clove cream and pear, lemon and ginger cake.
