Introduction to Tantra – Day Workshop

Mexico City | March 7

An entry-level, beginner-friendly immersion into the foundations of Tantra — grounded, experiential, and deeply human.

Tantra is not something distant or abstract.
It is available right here, right now.

It begins with a shift in awareness:

Who am I in relation to life?
Who am I in relation to my environment?
What remains constant as everything changes?

In this afternoon workshop, Marion Ellyard draws on over 25 years of experience in white and red tantra yoga, somatic therapies, and contemplative practice to guide participants into the essential principles of embodied Tantra.

Rather than learning about Tantra as a concept, you will experience it directly.

Through guided awareness practices, meditation, embodiment exercises, and relational inquiry, we explore how to consciously place ourselves into reality — not separate from life, but deeply participating in it.

We explore:

• Awareness of body, breath, and sensation
• Emotional presence and understanding our human needs
• The relationship between self and environment
• Masculine and feminine dynamics within
• Kundalini as life force — lived, not theorised

Tantra reminds us that we are born into mystery.

We do not arrive knowing who we are.
We discover ourselves through experience — through sensation, emotion, connection, longing, and loss.

When we forget that life is mystery, we become mechanical.
When we remember it, something profound awakens.

This workshop gently invites you into relationship with:

• Impermanence and the cycles of life
• Aging and death as natural phases of existence
• The stability of awareness within constant change
• A compassionate and embodied “yes” to who you are — body, heart, and spirit

Participants often describe leaving with:

• Greater clarity and groundedness
• A renewed sense of vitality
• Deeper connection to themselves and others
• Practical tools to integrate into everyday life

Beginners are warmly welcome.
This space is open to singles, couples, and individuals of all genders and orientations.

A beautiful vegan lunch is included, and the day flows gently toward the evening’s Tantra Touch Temple Night for those attending both experiences.

Introduction to the Tantra Touch Temple Night

Mexico City | March 7 8-11.30pm

An entry-level, beginner-friendly introduction to embodied Tantra — guided with clarity, care, and grounded presence.

Tantra, at its heart, is a path of awareness.
It is a way of slowing down enough to feel life moving through the body.
Through breath, meditation, and conscious relating, we begin to explore a simple yet profound inquiry:

Who am I — when I am truly present?

As the poet Rumi writes,
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.”

This evening is an invitation into that field — a space of meeting beyond performance, beyond expectation, beyond projection.

For over 13 years, Marion Ellyard has guided hundreds of participants through experiences that blend traditional tantric principles with modern somatic awareness and psychology. Her work creates a carefully held container where presence, safety, and authentic connection can unfold naturally.

This is an experiential introduction to that work.

We begin simply — with eye gazing, grounding awareness, and synchronising the breath.
Gradually, through structured and guided exercises, we explore simple five-elements-inspired touch practices, nurturing contact, clear communication, and boundary awareness.

Each practice is an invitation to notice:

How does my nervous system respond in connection?
Where do I feel open? Where do I contract?
What happens when I slow down enough to truly sense another person — and myself?

Through this mirroring process, something ancient often awakens —
a remembering of our shared humanity, a sense of inner centre, and a feeling of safety that arises from within rather than being sought outside.

Participants frequently describe leaving with:

• Greater calm and nervous system ease
• Clearer boundaries and communication
• A deeper sense of sovereignty
• A quiet joy or aliveness that comes from true embodiment

The evening concludes with a softly held integration space — time to rest, reflect, or connect in gentle conversation.

This space welcomes singles, couples, and individuals of all genders and orientations. It is designed as an educational and embodied experience. Unlike common misunderstandings about Tantra, the evening is practiced fully clothed and does not include sexual touch. All exercises are guided, optional, and consent-based.

Marion has been facilitating Tantra Touch Temple experiences internationally for over 13 years.

“I came out feeling enlivened, joyful, almost bursting from my own heart — with a stronger knowing of who I am and more safety in staying present and connecting deeply.”
— Andreas, Byron Bay

“I had been lacking physical touch and wanted a space where my slowness would be honoured. I received exactly that — conscious people willing to slow down and truly meet. It was absolutely beautiful.”
