This walking tour of West Kilbride includes a brief history of of significant buildings and past residents.  This leisurely tour will begin in front of West Kilbride library, and takes approximately 1 and half hours.  

Cost £20 per person (includes refreshments at Barony Cafe)

This tour begins at 10. 30am and finishes at approximately 12 noon.

We hear of West Kilbride past resident's, Sir John Boyd Orr; nutritionist for the nation and Robert Simson; renowned mathematician and geometrist.

We visit the Overton Church, Masonic Lodge, Village Hall, Community Centre, Kirkton Hall, and Scotland's Craft Centre; The Barony.

The tour ends at the Barony which offers the opportunity for refreshments in it's bright and stylish cafe.

Please be prepared for the weather (whatever that may be!) with appropriate clothing and footwear.
