This course will cover the five major Islamic Legal Maxims

• "Matters are according to it's intent" 

• "Certainty is not displaced with doubt"
  
• "There is no initiating or reciprocating harm" 
  
• "Hardship calls for ease" 
  
• "Customs are determinative"

...and other legal maxims connected to them.
