Tutors:
Daniel Sabio (aka The Glad Scientist) is a Puerto Rican conceptual media artist living and working in Barcelona. Their practice moves between audiovisual installation, live systems, and immersive production, with TouchDesigner as a core tool for building generative visuals, interactive environments, and real-time performance systems. Their work has been seen at Ars Electronica, Sónar+D, Venice Biennale di Cinema, ISEA, FILE, LEV, Bass Coast, and DreamHack, et al. Commercially they have built TouchDesigner-driven immersive experiences with studios including Cosmic Lab (Japan) and Leviathan/Envoy (Chicago), and for clients such as Ableton, Under Armour, Universal Studios’ Super Nintendo World, and the World of Coca-Cola. They teach advanced visual design as Associate Professor & Researcher in the Master’s in Digital Art and Creative Technologies at La Salle Barcelona and enjoy snowboarding and making music with modular synths when not playing with nodes.
Fransisco Estivallet (aka Chicoe) is a mechatronics engineer and creative technologist, designs and builds experimental hardware, sensor systems, digital and physical prototypes. With 15+ years of experience spanning industrial automation, electronics, data products and interactive systems, bringing engineering resources to creative and speculative projects.
Nancy El Azzi (aka Nansynth) is an art director, multimedia artist, and music maker from Lebanon. Her work spans static illustration, interactive pieces, and sonic journeys that explore human feeling through audiovisual storytelling. Recently, a deeper focus on sound art and spatial audio has led to interactive works that hold stories of war, normalcy, and the paradoxical realities we live in. Her practice with TouchDesigner (shaped by learnings from Bileam Tscheppe, MxZhen, and others) has opened international collaborations across both performance and installation.
