Road To Culinary Gold – Team Canada Bocuse d'Or Fundraising Reception Vancouver, to be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at the Sheraton Wall Centre Vancouver Grande Ballroom - promises an unforgettable evening of fun, food and connection!

Meet & Greet your favourite BC Chefs, Pastry Chefs, & well-known Guest Chefs who will showcase their talents and share their passion for both culinary arts and making a difference!

Enjoy world-class dishes created by Chefs such as L’Abattoir’s Jasper Cruickshank, Top Chef Canada competitor Felix Zhou, Jesse Friesen (Winnipeg), former Bocuse candidate Scott Jaeger, Starri Chow and Fumiko Moreton (Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre), Clement Chan (The Apron), Saeko Choi (Glowbal Group), Byran Hendricks (Athabasca Catering), Roary MacPherson (Newfoundland), James Thomson & Billy Chan (Team Delta Burnaby), and Chocolatier Thomas Haas.

We are pleased to welcome Culinary Athlete Chef Keith Pears, who will host an early access Meet & Greet Reception at 5:30PM-6:30PM. 

Vancouver Community College Culinary Students will craft their own dish and host a station alongside Chef Pears in the Grande Foyer.  Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts Students will be joining alongside VCC students to make a difference helping curate dishes in mentorship with guest chefs at the Team Canada Gala. 

The Team Canada Gala doors will open at 6:30 to the fundraiser Food Hall-styled stations. 

YOU'LL BE THE JUDGE for the Tinhorn Creek Vineyards Wine Pairing Challenge – sip wines and set your palate aflame while noshing at 13 Chef Hosted Food Stations and score the small plates paired with wine to determine the Fan Favourite - Best Small Plate and Wine Pairing of the Evening! Winning Chef receives a prize and acknowledgement.

Guests will have an opportunity to interact with Chocolate Ambassador & Chef Christophe Bonzon (Chez Christophe) as he hosts a food station and showcases his craft at a live chocolate demonstration.

Beer, cider, cocktails, mocktail and gourmet coffee stations will be featured in the FOOD HALL!

Fundraising efforts for the Team include guest participation in a high-stakes live auction, raise the paddle, and 50/50 draw and guests will learn more about how they can support Team Canada Bocuse d'Or. All proceeds from the evening will directly contribute to representing Culinary Team Canada at this competition. The Team has limited resources and relies on community and corporate sponsorship through events like this for training, equipment costs and travel requirements.
