LFA 2026: The Low Line - This Place is Ours

A walk along the Low Line exploring how the railway viaduct has become a shared spine for South London.

Stretching from Bankside to Bermondsey, the mighty Victorian arches do more than carry trains — they shape the streets, businesses and communities that thrive around them. Beneath the arches, former industrial spaces now host independent traders, creative studios, cultural venues and community initiatives — places built on local energy, enterprise and care. Together, they form a route that reflects collective identity and shared ownership. Along the 3km walk, Low Line project partners guide you through the area, sharing how local interventions are rooted in hyper-local stories and everyday experience.

This event is part of the The London Festival of Architecture (LFA).
