The Big Butterfly Count is a nationwide citizen science survey aimed at assessing the health of our environment.
In London Bridge we have been planting climate tolerant, biodiverse gardens for several years – and we now manage an acre of green space across about 13 sites, with Gold and Silver Gilt medals at London in Bloom and Britain in Bloom.
Some of these are relocated show-gardens from RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Which garden has the most butterflies? We’d love to know.
Join us on 20 July at lunchtime to count butterflies for 15 minutes in one of our gardens.
Meet at 12:00 at the Hive, you will be given the materials and information you need. You can also do this yourself at any time from 18 July to 10 August, more information here.
