Silk, Water & Bananas – What do they have to do with Black History?

For Black History Month, join this walking tour through the area once known as the Pool of London, and meet some of the fascinating people who shaped it after arriving from the Caribbean, from Europe, or from right here.

Who were they, and what did they do? Along the way you'll hear about a 16th-century silk weaver, a 20th-century superstar, and an actor who made British film history in 1951. And yes, the banana does come into it. All will become clear on the walk.
