We are extremely excited to bring to Seguin and the surrounding communities the Inaugural Juan Seguin Festival del Mariachi Showcase that will be held Texas Lutheran University Jackson Auditorium in Seguin on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 7 p.m.
The Inaugural Juan Seguin Festival del Mariachi Showcase is an event that is open to middle school, high school, university, and community groups. At the forefront of this event is the opportunity to provide a safe space and place for groups to share la cultura, el arte, y el amor de musica mariachi. It also provides another opportunity for talented musicians to showcase their musicianship on stage. We take pride in ensuring that showcase musicians and directors will receive high quality and thoughtful feedback from a highly qualified mariachi professional during this event. Musicians and directors will also have the opportunity to sit together and receive valuable feedback as a large group on not only stage presence, tips on memorizing music, and much more.
General admission Juan Seguin Festival del Mariachi Showcase tickets can only be purchased online www.teatrodeartes.org or at the door (cash, check, & venmo only). Cost per ticket $10 for those attending that are 3 years of age and older.
This event is sponsored by Teatro De Artes De Juan Seguin, National Endowment for the Arts, Texas Commission on the Arts, Guadalupe County United Way, San Antonio Area Foundation, City of Seguin, Texas Lutheran University Center for Servant Leadership, Guadalupe County Community Symposium, and H-E-B.
