CEA & Indoor Farming 2027

Fri 7 May 2027 9:00 AM - Fri 21 May 2027 5:00 PM BST Online, CEAIF 2027

The sector is under pressure from the same forces that have always defined the sector, but the stakes are higher now. Energy costs, automation, and the integration of real-time environmental control are determining which operations scale and which do not. Getting production and performance right across lighting, climate, harvesting, and data-driven decision systems is only half the challenge, and the other half is crop cultivation, matching genetics, propagation, and growing protocols to the specific demands of indoor production, so that the categories worth growing actually deliver the returns that justify the investment.

CEAIF 2027 brings the value chain together to address these realities through two days of live sessions, direct conversation, and shared expertise.

Now in its seventh annual online conference, produced in collaboration with UK Urban AgriTech (UKUAT) and The Advanced Plant Growth Centre (APGC) we welcome more than 600 stakeholders from over 300 organisations, including growers, farmers, operators, solution providers, and innovators driving what comes next.

Across two stages, more than 40 speakers address what the industry is facing. For the people the sector depends on, CEAIF 2027 is the annual point of reference.

Complimentary Attendees

Full access attendance is currently complimentary for qualifying personnel from Farms, Greenhouses, Growers, and Government and Regulatory Bodies.

Platform Opens: Friday 7th May
CEAIF 2027 opens ahead of Day One, giving attendees access to the event hub to connect and network.

Conference Day One: Friday 14th May
Live sessions, open Q&A, and networking with speakers and fellow attendees. Be part of the conversation as it happens.

Conference Day Two: Friday 21st May
Live sessions, open Q&A, and networking continue, with a second full day of speakers and discussion.

Stage 1Production and Performance
The ability to assess and optimise farm operations, performance, and efficiency is critical to ensuring productivity and long-term viability. Ongoing advancements in technologies, practices, and processes are improving key areas such as energy use, automation, labour, materials, water, and waste management—helping operators maximise yields and operational effectiveness.

Stage 2: Crop Cultivation
Indoor farming enables precise control over the key factors influencing plant development, including light, temperature, humidity, irrigation, nutrition, and air composition. By managing these variables effectively, growers can optimise growth conditions and achieve consistent, high-quality crop production year-round.
