Technology Scotland Dinner 2023

Due to the great success of our 2022 Annual Dinner, tickets for this event are limited due to venue capacity and will sell out in advance - please ensure you book early to avoid disappointment.

This event is the biggest in our calendar and welcomes around 250 attendees from across all three of our networks for an evening of networking and celebrations, creating new connections and helping to solidify those already established.

It’s a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues old and new from across the sector, enjoy an evening of celebrations with your team, and recognise the great work happening across the Technology Scotland community.

• Opportunity to hear from Alastair Humphreys, our engaging after-dinner speaker

After dinner speaker: Alastair Humphreys

Alastair Humphreys is a British Adventurer and Author. He spent over 4 years cycling round the world, a journey of 46,000 miles through 60 countries and 5 continents.

More recently Alastair has walked across southern India, rowed across the Atlantic Ocean, run six marathons through the Sahara desert, completed a crossing of Iceland, busked through Spain and participated in an expedition in the Arctic, close to the magnetic North Pole. He has trekked 1000 miles across the Empty Quarter desert and 120 miles round the M25 – one of his pioneering microadventures. He was named as one of National Geographic’s Adventurers of the year for 2012. In 2023, The Royal Geographical Society gave Alastair the Ness Award for ‘his long-standing contributions to promoting a greater understanding of our world and wider public engagement with the outdoors.'
