AI South West is a networking community for professionals working in or interested in AI, machine learning and data science.

Delivered in association with with Microsoft, ISL Talent, Barclays, Digital Somerset and Somerset Council, the group moves around the region working with local partners to facilitate knowledge-sharing and network-building across the South West region.

For the first 2024 AI edition of AI South West, we're heading to Firepool Innovation Centre in Taunton in March to hear from some key experts in the AI ecosystem.

John is a Chartered Marketer of now 14 years with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, he is currently completing his studies at Oxford Universities, Said Business School in AI Leadership, studying at Post Grad level, whilst also having studied previously with London Business School, IBM and Edinburgh University. He is also studying with Microsoft and Chat GPT, LLM, Generative AI developments and their impact and use in the SME and wider economy. He takes a huge interest in the Philosophy of AI and ML and its impact on humanity and the economy. John also holds a position at Bath University, as an ‘Industrial Fellow’ of ‘The Institute for Mathematical Innovation’, supporting mathematical MSc students with case study development in data management in the Visitor Economy
