With guest speakers and lively discussions, the community facilitates knowledge-sharing and network-building across the South West region.

Iain Wallace, Machine Learning & Tracking Research Director at Ultraleap
Dr Iain Wallace is the Director of Machine Learning at Ultraleap, leading the Hand Tracking Research team working to enable new interactions in XR, out of home and anywhere you interact with the digital world. Iain has a PhD in AI from the University of Edinburgh, and two decades of experience delivering AI systems.
Recently he’s held a variety of leadership roles across subsea robotics, Uncrewed Air Vehicles and AI for automotive inspection.

Karin Rudolph, Founder of Collective Intelligence
As the founder of Collective Intelligence UK, Karin provides training and resources to help start-ups and SMEs embed ethics in the design and development of technology. Karin holds a degree in Sociology, studies in Philosophy and is a Data Ethics Facilitator and Professional certified by the Open Data Institute.
Karin is a regular speaker at universities and conferences, an active member of the tech community in Bristol and the South West of England and the co-founder of the Tech Ethics Bristol Meetup, a community group of more than 750 members.
