Chinese Folk Music Orchestral Concert: A Panorama of Hunan
A Panorama of Hunan
One night only. Two musical traditions. One extraordinary orchestral experience.
On Friday 11 September, musicians from the Hunan Song and Dance Theatre join the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra at Central Hall Westminster, bringing traditional Chinese instruments together with the power and colour of a leading British symphony orchestra.
Following its debut at the United Nations in 2024 and a five-star-reviewed appearance at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2025, A Panorama of Hunan now comes to London for one special performance. The concert will also be featured on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune on 10 September.
